He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Sindelar and Barbara Sindelar (Widhalm); and his siblings, Rolland, Donald, Alvin, Delores Bogus and Margaret Sindelar.

He is survived by : his wife Nancy Hollendieck of Fremont; his children, Mike Sindelar (Susan) of Fremont, Dr. Steve Sindelar (Jodi) of Omaha and Renee Kreifels Beining (Chris) of Shenandoah, IA.; and his sisters, Barbara Noonan of Columbus, Ruth Asche (Ron) of Omaha, Linda Hillen (Dennis) of Creston and Lois Wilke (Mike) of Stanton.
