He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Palmer and Marlene Hopper Palmer (Reick); his sister Kimberly Blumm (David); his nieces, Mandy and Jennifer; his great-niece Haley; and his stepbrother Kenneth Hopper.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Palmer of Naples, FL, Lucas Palmer (Amber Krana) of Fremont, Natalie Palmer of Columbus and Jessica Lieberman (David Sliva) of Columbus; his close friend Joan Filarecki of Fremont; his sisters, Marlyce Scott (Steve) of Inman, SC and Marsha Brown (Lynn) of Valley, NE; his stepsister Connie Hicks (Lori Hopper) of Alliance, NE; his grandchildren, Jacob, Carlin, Frankie, Alyea, Tyler, Kolyn, Caden, Owen, Samuel, Dominick and Roman; Josh and Jack Filarecki of Omaha.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Moser Memorial Chapel (2170 N Somers Ave, Fremont, NE 68025).
