He was predeceased by : his parents, Wallace Richert and Agnes Richert (Wiles); and his sister Jacquelyn Gaebel. He is survived by : his brother Jim Richert (Jan); and his brother-in-law Terry Gaebel. He is also survived by 5 nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Moser Memorial Chapel Funeral & Cremation Services (2170 N Somers Ave, Fremont, NE 68025).

Memorials may be directed to the Elmwood-Murdock Education Foundation Scholarship Fund.
