He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Schlepp and Elizabeth Schlepp (George); his spouse Geraldine'Jeri'Nagengast; and his brothers, Billy Schlepp and Jerry Steiger.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Schlepp (Mike Hoffman) of Valley, NE and Stacy Shafer (Travis) of Crescent, IA; his grandson Malachi Shafer of San Diego, CA; his children, Serenity, Penelope, Asher, Isiah Shafer of Council Bluffs, IA and Zechariah Shafer of Fremont; his sister Sandy Severson of Medford, OR; his siblings-in-law, Elaine Crist (Gene) of Fremont, Ruth Nagengast of West Point, Norman Nagengast (Judy) of Moorpark, CA and Daniel Nagengast (Sandy) of Emporia, KS.; his sisters, Julia Sladek and Helen Henry; his siblings-in-law, William Nagengast, Ron Vrba, Marlin Rogers, Valdean Vrba and Velma Nagengast; and his nephew Dennis Rogers.
