Judith L. Nielsen Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Judith L. Nielsen of Fremont, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 15, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyle McKinney and Elnor McKinney; her son Scott Allen; and her siblings-in-law, Michael Taylor, Barbara and Bill Schroedter.

She is survived by: her husband Jerry Nielsen of Fremont; her children, Thomas Nielsen (Tami) of Fremont and Annette Nielsen of Omaha; her granddaughter Ashlee Hall; her children, Norah, Baylor, Shepard of Bennington and Amber Gralheer (Chris); her grandchildren, Blakely, Lennon and Lincoln of Fremont; her son Dylan Nielsen (Kara); her grandchildren, Brecken and Colt of Fremont; her sister Sharon Taylor of Nickerson; and her sister-in-law Carol Kastanek (Loren) of Omaha.

Memorials are suggested to the Fremont First United Methodist Church or the Tangier Shrine Transportation Fund.
