He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ewald and Madge Ewald (Staple). He is survived by: his wife Jolene Ewald of Fremont; his daughters, Kristy Hollingsworth (Jeff) of Ames, NE, Shana Jordan (Bradley) of Fremont and Tanya Thomas (Donald) of Ames; his sister Bonnie Crossman of Nevada; and his grandson Cayden Thomas.
