We bid farewell to Kenneth G. Gaughen of Fremont, Nebraska, born in North Bend, Nebraska, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 8, 2025 at the age of 72. Kenneth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin and Thelma'Olsen'Gaughen; his brothers, Marty, Chuck and Tom; his brother-in-law Don Furches; his parents-in-law, Leonard Bertelsen and Rosie Bertelsen; and his brother-in-law Jim Bertelsen.
He is survived by: his wife Janey Bertelsen of Fremont; his daughter Julie Warford (Carl); his grandchildren, Kylie, Ellie and Carson of Wahoo; his daughter Jill Pokorny (Jacob); his grandsons, Owen, Emmett and Anderson of Wahoo; his son Kevin Gaughen (Angie); his grandchildren, Kamdin, Beckett and Aizley of Hickman; his child Kasey Gaughen (Victoria); his grandchildren, Gentry, Leo and Penny of Wahoo; his sister Jean Furches of Omaha; and his siblings-in-law, LeAnne Gaughen of Cedar Bluffs and Jerry Bertelsen (Karen) of Valley, Many.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ludvigsen Mortuary - Fremont (1249 E 23rd St, Fremont, NE 68025). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church (504 W 8th St, Wahoo, NE 68066).
