It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Troost (Fremont, Nebraska), who passed away on May 2, 2026, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Kenneth shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Kenneth farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Troost and Florence Troost (Ross); and his nephew Jon. He is survived by: his wife Andrea Heine of Fremont; his son Kyle Troost (Jolissa) of Hooper, NE; his siblings, Henry "Chip" Troost (Nancy) of River Falls, Wisconsin and Karen Vermillion of Connecticut; his siblings-in-law, Jon Heine of California and Angela Wipfli of California; his niece Alexis; and his nephews, Hank, Zeke and Tommy.
