He was predeceased by: his parents, Axel Roger and Ada Belle Hansen (Palmer); his brother Kent; and his sister-in-law Charlotte Hansen. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Kay Gilbert; his children, Annette Novak (Nate) of Waterloo, WI and Michael Hansen (Lori) of Kearney, NE; his grandchildren, Jens Novak, Emily and Jacob Hansen; his brother Randall Hansen (Mary) of Billings, MT; and his brothers-in-law, Gary Gilbert (Connie) and Clark Gilbert (Claudette). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church (815 N Broad St, Fremont, NE 68025).
