It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Laurie Holben (Fremont, Nebraska), who passed away on July 12, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Barber and Letha Hilgenkamp (Balderson-Barber); her sister Polly Streenz; her brother-in-law Gordon Streenz; her brothers, Gerald and Stan Hilgenkamp; her son-in-law James Tijerina; and her granddaughter Elizabeth Holben.
She is survived by: her daughter Emily Hardy; her stepchildren, Amy Tijerina (James) and Kevin Holben (Andrea); her grandchildren, Collin, Conner, Cameron, Kiersten Holben, Jackson, Jade Tijerina and Gracie Hardy; and her brothers, Andy Barber (Lois), Paul Hilgenkamp (Chris) and Don Hilgenkamp (Kris). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Moser Memorial Chapel (2170 N Somers Ave, Fremont, NE 68025).
