Though Lonnie Gene may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lonnie Gene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore and Laura'Lackas'Reker. He is survived by: his daughter Nyla Bodfield Vickie (Chuck); and his grandchildren, Ashley Bock (Ethan), Cameron Bodfield, Taylor Bodfield (Will Pittman), Alex Kohl (Jess Lusche) and Lauren Kohl (Michael Martin).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ludvigsen Mortuary - Fremont (1249 E 23rd St, Fremont, NE 68025). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Lutheran Church (3200 E Military Ave, Fremont, NE 68025).
