He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester LeGrand and Idella LeGrand (Brand); his son Jay LeGrand; and his brothers, Clayton LeGrand and Vern Sukstorf.

He is survived by: his children, Terry LeGrand and Sherri LeGrand; and his partner Alex Adams. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

“I was so sad to hear of Lyle's passing. Alex, you and his family have our deepest condolences. We were neighbors for 21 years and while Lyle had some unique traits, he was always very caring , worried about us, always asked about the kids, and sent Christmas cards regularly. He will be dearly missed by Callie, Marissa, Tony and I.”
