It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Emanuel (Fremont, Nebraska), who passed away on June 3, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Emanuel to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Finegan and Ethel Finegan (Matz); her husband Mark J. Emanuel; and her sisters, Lois Dvorak, Joanie Preston, Pat Cunningham and Margie Melena.
She is survived by: her sister Kathi Emanuel of Omaha; and her sister-in-law Veronica Emanuel. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Charles Catholic Church (811 Locust St, North Bend, NE 68649). A rosary was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
