The memory of Maxine Bray of Fremont, Nebraska, who passed away on July 24, 2025 at the age of 92, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Peters and Louise Peters (Lucke); her husband Verne Bray; and her brother William "Bill" Peters (Rita). She is survived by: her sons, Richard Dunker (Deb) of Cedar Bluffs, NE, Michael Dunker (Deanna) of Vernal, UT and James Dunker (Karen) of Cedar Bluffs, NE; her stepson Terry Bray (Diana) of Fremont, NE; her daughters, Karen M. D. Stout (Patrick) of Colorado Springs, CO and Susan Hajek of Fremont, NE; her stepdaughters, Cathy Roberts (Graham) of Fremont, NE and Deb Mitchell (Richard) of Ithaca, NE; and her niece Sarah Svehla (Lawayne) of Elwood, NE.. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the First Prebyterian Church (306 N King St, Cedar Bluffs, NE 68025). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (306 N King St, Cedar Bluffs, NE 68025).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Presbyterian Church in Cedar Bluffs.
