He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Kucera and Clara Kucera (Marik). He is survived by: his children, Kerri and Matthew; his grandchildren, Alexander and Liliana of Fremont; his siblings, Ernie Kucera of Friend, NE, Doran Kucera (Connie) of Humphrey, NE, Elliot Kucera of Columbus, NE, Gloria Vesely of Fremont, Rita Lauer of Fremont and Melva Prososki (Mike) of Schuyler; his close friends, Rod and Mavis Lass of Snyder, NE; his siblings, Duane Kucera and Delores "Dee" (James Nygren); and his brothers-in-law, Dwaine Lauer and Steve Vesely. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moser Memorial Chapel (2170 N Somers Ave, Fremont, NE 68025). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials in lieu of flowers to Paralyzed Veterans or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
