He was predeceased by: his siblings, Roy Gier (Ilena), Wayne Gier, Vivian Gier (Paul Schuman), Robert Gier (Novelle) and Earl Gier (Lois).
He is survived by: his wife Norma Schou; and his children, Christopher and Brittny. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Wounded Warrior Program of America, Cosmopolitan 100 Club of Fremont or the Fremont Presbyterian Church.
