He is survived by: his siblings, Ron Longacre (Shirley) of Bellevue, Ted Longacre (Lana) of Omaha and Kathy Brink (Don) of Elkhorn; his brother-in-law Harold Ladehoff of Lincoln; and his friend Terry Synovec of Fremont. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

“So sorry to hear of Mick's death. It has been a very long time since I saw him last, but I will always remember the good times we had when we were young and crazy. Wayne, Dowd, Brian and I. Those guys taught Brian to "road hunt" on their way to Clarkson to the bar. They would also take toddler Brian golfing with them in Schuyler, Brian rode on Wayne's bag and got to hit a few balls. So many good times and laughs as we were typical 20-somethings all those years ago. Rest in Peace Old Friend”
