Milo Polacek Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Milo Polacek of Fremont, Nebraska, who passed away on November 28, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Polacek and Mary Polacek (Voboril); and his siblings, Raymond, Leonard Polacek, Alice Rech (Rudy), Mary Waskowiak (Clem), Helen Pacula (Adolph), Anna Holub (Ermin), Lillian Belik (Frank) and Mildred.
He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Vanicek of Fremont; his daughters, RaNae O'Brien (Mike) of West Point, Kathleen Kaufman (Jim) of Newman Grove, NE, Teresa Wondercheck (Zane) of Newman Grove and Marla Murray (Mike) of North Bend, NE; and his sisters-in-law, Geraldine, Louise Polacek and Gerry Benes. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Moser Memorial Chapel (2170 N Somers Ave, Fremont, NE 68025). A rosary was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St Patrick Catholic Church (3400 E 16th St, Fremont, NE 68025).
Memorials may be directed to the family for a designation at a later date.
