It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ron Hassler of Fremont, Nebraska, born in West Point, Nebraska, who passed away on February 28, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Willis Hassler; his niece Amy Hassler; and his sister-in-law Marlene Hassler. He is survived by: his mother Rose Hassler (Guenther) of Fremont; his wife JoAnn Kohl of Fremont; his children, Ronald Hassler (Sherry) of Pacific Junction, IA, Jim Sheets (Pam) of Firth, NE, Brad Sheets (Tabbi) of Fremont and Jennifer Pughes (Ron) of Hastings; his sisters, Diane Berkland (Lynn) of Fremont and Judy Rusch (Morris) of Hartley, IA; and his grandchildren, John James Pughes, Emily, Kaitlin Sheets, Cale and Mason Sheets.
