He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Johnson and Bernice Johnson; his wife Nadine (Suhr); and his siblings, Wendel, Doris Schroeder (Bob) and Phyllis Spath (Berdine).
He is survived by: his children, Doug Johnson of Fremont, Tom Johnson (Shelly) of Fremont, Cyndi Stibor of Fremont and Pam Kreikemeier (Rob) of Fremont; and his sister Janis Poppe of Scribner. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
