Sally A. Johnson Obituary
We announce the death of Sally A. Johnson of Fremont, Nebraska, who passed away on September 14, 2026, at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Sass and Bernice J. "Jack" Sass (Pearce); her grandmother Sally; her husband Norman L. Johnson; her daughter Cherie Bartlett; and her grandson Derek Keithley.
She is survived by: her children, Johnnie Johnson (Melinda) of Craig, Nebraska, Tammie Baumert (Ron) of Fremont, Nebraska and Angie Hauptman (Tim) of Woodbine, Iowa; her sister-in-law Marilyn Johnson of Uehling, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Brant Keithley, Darin Keithley (Gabby), Whitney Swanson (Tyler), Cola Henderson (Colby), Jackie Haney (Brett), Blake Baumert (Sarah), Jennie Harbin (Stuart), Will Johnson (Stephanie), Sammie Wise (Jake), Stefanie Baumert and Trevor Svec; and her great grandchildren, Leah, Brylen, Elle, Laynie, Lane, Reagan, McKinley, Beckett, Isla, Natalie, Brody, Cooper, Cal, Reece, Brigham, Chisum, Rhett, Mason, Stockton, Riggs and Eden. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Left Field (505 W Fulton St, Oakland, NE 68045). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church (201 N Davis Ave, Oakland, NE 68045). A burial will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Swaburg Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the Uehling Park & Auditorium Fund, First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Oakland or the Burt County Agricultural Society.
