Sally will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Sally by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Sally is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Sally’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William S. Wimmer and Ida M. Wimmer (Ibson); her brother Wesley; and her son-in-law George Laufer. She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Riley (Steve) and Michelle Laufer; and her sisters, Sue McClanahan (Jack) and Cindy Osborn (Kirk). She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sinai Lutheran Church (950 E 8th St, Fremont, NE 68025). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
