He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Bayer and Ruby Bayer (Beahr); and his granddaughter Jessica. He is survived by: his children-in-law, Nicole Petrides, Mike Kleespie and Ross Johnson; his wife Susan Minarick; his children, Jacqueline Kleespie (Michael), Joseph Bayer (Nicole) and Anne Johnson (Ross); and his grandchildren, Jacob, Abigail, Madelynne, William-Maxwell, Ella, Trace-William, Penn and Winnie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Hooper American Legion or Vietnam Veterans of America in Bill's honor, Moser Memorial Chapel, 2170 N Somers Ave, Fremont, NE 68025 402-721-4490.
