He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his daughters, Deb Griess (Gail) of Sutton, NE, Michelle Leenerts of Papillion, NE and Angela Plahn (Michael) of Lincoln, NE; his sister Nancy Tomrdle (Rod) of Fremont, NE; and his grandchildren, Jessica Fruchtl (AJ), Stephanie Laetsch (Matt), Gina Osterhaus, Justin Leenerts, Abigail Osterhaus, Anna Leenerts, Connor Plahn and Brooke Plahn. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to the Eastern Nebraska Veterans' Home (Allegiance Unit) in Bellevue, NE.
