He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Kiger and Amanda Kiger (Petersen); his wife Sharon Kiger; and his siblings, Robert Kiger (Bob) and Alice (Glenn Jessen).
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Carrie Kiger of Fremont; his children, Darrin Kiger (Melissa) of Fremont, Susan Thurlow (Shawn) of Fremont and Denise Thurlow (Shane) of Phoenix, AZ; and his grandchildren, Emma Kiger, Cole, Sydney, Hannah Rusow of Kearney, NE, Tristan Thurlow of Fremont, NE, Dixie Thurlow of Omaha, NE and Kolten Thurlow of Phoenix, AZ.
