We bid farewell to Wilma Veverka of Fremont, Nebraska, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 25, 2025 at the age of 85. Wilma touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Wilma leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Wilma may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Othe Asher and Viona Asher (Criffield); and her brother LeRoy Asher. She is survived by: her husband Frank Veverka; her daughters, Vicky Wilkinson (Mark) of Lincoln and Cindy Brown of Hayti; her grandchildren, Tanner, Minon, Brock (Kalli) and Heath; and her great grandchild Arthur.
Memorials may be given to First United Methodist Church in Fremont and the Fremont Public Schools Foundation.
