She was predeceased by : her father Duane Beed; her sister Audra Shivley; her grandparents, Marvin, Mary Boardman, Charles and Fern Beed; and her niece Isabella Baustian.

She is survived by : her mother Myrna Beed (Boardman) of Fullerton; her daughter Calestine "Cali"; her husband Thomas Rice of Fullerton; her daughter Cali Stern of Fullerton; her stepson Patrick Fuller of Puyallup, WA; her grandchildren, Elliot Stern (Paige Bernt), Skyler Stern, Lillian Stern and Axel Stern; and her siblings, Duane Beed of Aurora, Kirk Whitford (Sue) of Cincinnati, OH, Marvin Beed (Angela) of Fullerton and Celeste King (Regan) of Albion. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
