He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Sorensen and Mary Jane Sorensen (Omey); his wife Dorothy Brewer; and his siblings, Virgil Sorensen, Clara Moody, Jeanette Kriley and Debbie Grant.
He is survived by: his children, David Sorensen (Melissa) of Hastings, Kevin Sorensen (Lisa Medina) of Fullerton and Lisa Vesely (Jacob Stibolt) of Central City; and his grandchildren, Christian Vesley, Amanda Lou Sorensen, Tessa, Kayla Miles, Emma Brewer, McKenna Sorensen, Brooklynn Sorensen and Nicholas Sorensen.
Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.
