He was predeceased by : his parents, Fred Meyer and Mary Meyer (Hawthorne); his wife Darlene Williams; his siblings, Violet Anderson (Paul), Ruby Zipf (Merlin), Everett Meyer, Leland Meyer (Louise), Bill Meyer and Gene Meyer; and his brothers-in-law, Ed Bridgeland and Lyle Nicholson.

He is survived by : his son Duane of Fullerton; his sister Joyce; and his siblings-in-law, Ray McNeff, Jessie Meyer of Fullerton, Barbara Meyer of Central City, Melva Jean Nicholson of Papillion, Barbara Bridgeland, Carolyn Kay Brannan (Mike) of Illinois, Ralph Williams (Donna) of Dannebrog and Jim Williams of Central City. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
