He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Whitaker and Esther Whitaker (Baker); his nephew Nick Whitaker; and his brother-in-law John Wirth. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Pare of Fullerton; his children, Nate Whitaker of Columbus, Bree Whitaker of Alaska and Tara Lovett (Todd) of Oregon; his granddaughter Jocelyn Kiley; and his siblings, Helen Wirth of Washington, Donna Wilson (Mark) of Montana, Henry Whitaker Jr. (Donnie) of Arizona and Clayton Whitaker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A reception was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Palmer-Santin Funeral Home (210 Irving St, Fullerton, NE 68638).
