He is survived by: his wife Diane Hellbusch of Fullerton; his children, Brenda Knopik (Ron) of Belgrade and Ryan Harris of Omaha; his grandchildren, Quinton Knopik (Keiley) of Fullerton, Gracie (Wyatt Boelter) of Winside, Sophie Knopik, Paige Harris of Cheyenne, WY, Tyler Sprinkel (Sophie) of Omaha and Brett Sprinkel of Arlington, VA; his siblings, Marge Foland of Fullerton, Mary Lee Konz of Genoa, Colleen Lincoln (Kevin) of St. Libory, Fred Harris of Fullerton, Lloyd Harris (Ann) of Gretna and Rex Harris (Patsy) of Republic, MO; his siblings-in-law, Kenny Strain of Genoa, Darla Russell Sr. (Doug) of Fullerton, Debra Sonderup of Fullerton, Marilyn Hellbusch of Fullerton, Doug Hellbusch (Carol) of Fullerton, David Hellbusch (Marti) of St. Edward, Dick Hellbusch (Lisa) of Belgrade and Danny Hellbusch of Columbus; Cora Pedersen of Fullerton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Palmer-Santin Funeral Home (210 Irving St, Fullerton, NE 68638). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
