He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward Nelson II and Essie Nelson (Marlatt); and his wife Glenda "Dimp" Nelson. He is survived by: his children, Debra Hansen (Ted) of Kearney, Jack Nelson (Jayne) of Belgrade and Denise DeJulio (Jim) of Overland Park, Kansas. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials are suggested to the Belgrade Volunteer Fire Department and the Belgrade American Legion.
