It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Russell LeRoy Reeder of Fullerton, Nebraska, who passed away on February 26, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Reeder and Berniece Reeder (Hartford); his wife Marian Kay Hellbusch; and his half-siblings, Shirley Winther (Reeder), Robert and William Peterson.

He is survived by: his son Jay Reeder (Christy) of Basehor, KS; his grandsons, Nathan Reeder (Olivia) of Brighton, MI, Zach Reeder (Brooke) of Shawnee, KS and Blake Reeder of Baldwin City, KS; his great grandchild Leah; and his girlfriend Sue Cox. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Peace Lutheran Cemetery or Fullerton Fire and Rescue.
