As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Michael may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Douthit and Shirley Douthit (Morrow); his uncle Theron "Unk" Morrow; and his pet George. He is survived by: his daughter Harleena Vocasek (Mike); his grandsons, Leeson and Maxwell of Lincoln, Nebraska; his son Shawn Novacek; his grandson Bennett Novacek of Cedar Rapids, Nebraska; and his brother Jerry Douthit (Sue) of Berthoud, Colorado. He is also survived by two nephews, one niece and their spouses; three great-nephews, three great-nieces and their spouses; three great-great nieces; and friends.
A memorial has been established in Mike's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
