She was predeceased by : her parents, John P. Werner and Pauline Werner (Doehring); her husband John H. Brower; her son-in-law Billy Bettger; her siblings, Lucille Meyer (Elmer), Adeline Schleifer (Ed), Helen Grammer (Aldo), Virgil Werner and Lavern Werner; and her sons, James Brower (Barbara) of Lincoln, Nebraska and John Brower (Kathleen) of Geneva, Nebraska.

She is survived by : her daughters, Sharon Hockemeier (Jerry) of Eagle, Nebraska and Susan Bettger of Geneva, Nebraska; and her sister-in-law Virginia Werner. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many nephews, nieces and friends.
