He was predeceased by : his parents, Orville L. Dunkin and Mona F. Dunkin (Resseguie); his siblings, Gary, Sherm and Diane Peschel; his brother-in-law Dale Mason; and his parents-in-law, Herb and Annabelle Mason.

He is survived by : his wife Trudy Dunkin of Geneva, Nebraska; his children, Steve Dunkin (Shelly) of Geneva, Shannon Dunkin of Grand Island and Bradley Dunkin (Joni) of Firth, Nebraska; his siblings-in-law, Don Mason of Exeter, Ray Peschel of Geneva, Nebraska and Peggy Dunkin of Lincoln, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Trever Dunkin (Kristi) of Walton, Karissa Dunkin, George Jackson of Lincoln, Cheyenne Lane of Grand Island, Shania Eckhardt (William) of York, Brecken Dunkin of Lincoln and Aubrey Dunkin of Lincoln, Nebraska; and his great grandchildren, Kara, Haze, Alexander, Briar and Brodie. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
