He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Kennel and Sylvia Kennel (Lichti); his wife Marjorie Eichelberger of Shickley; his son Martin; and his sisters, Arla Rediger and Karen Santog.
He is survived by: his children, Rex and Peg; his grandchildren, Kerri (Scott Price), Kelli (Luke Dorris), Kimberly Kennel, Kaily (Jordan Stutzman), Alanna (Ron Kramer), Cameron Ward (Brianna), Anthony Kennel (Haley), Aaron Kennel, Lena Kennel and Gabriel Kennel; and his great grandchildren, Madison, Carson, Jaxon Kramer, Lilly Fuehrer, Ella, Emery Steinacher, Savannah, Charlotte Dorris and Wyatt Kennel. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as extended family.
Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
