He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Tesar and Leona Rose Tesar (Krisl); his stepfather Henry Cecrle; his wife Dee Tesar; his brothers, Gaylen Tesar and Norman "Hoot" Tesar; and his stepdaughter Marcy Wythers.
He is survived by: his stepsons, Randy Jirkovsky (Kris), Michael Jirkovsky and Joe Jirkovsky (Mary); his sisters, Marlys Voth (Jim) and Cindy Carrigan (Steve); his close friend Pam Turner; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Verley, Jason Jirkovsky, Chad Wythers, Meghan Volpi and Shannon Jirkovsky. He is also survived by great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Memorials in lieu of flowers are suggested to the Fillmore County Hospital Foundation or the Geneva Rescue Squad.
