She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Cunningham and Rosanna Cunningham. She is survived by: her sister Darlene; her husband Charles F. Grothe; her children, Michael, Micheal (Cindy Grothe), Geneva (Luigi), Teresa Grothe Trucchi (Pat) of San Diego, CA, Mary Grothe McCabe (Jay) and Susan Grothe Lynch (Geneva); her grandchildren, Joseph, Breana Briggs, Nate, Michaela Carlson (Grothe), Meghan Briggs, Charlie Trucchi, Max, Claire Trucchi, Tucker, Lollie Griess, Cobie, Emilie Griess, James, Keegan Briggs, Rosie Briggs and Charleigh Lynch; and her great grandchildren, Cora, Lucy, Cali Briggs, Rileigh, Paityn, Carter Carlson, Sutton Griess and James Trucchi.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Farmer & Son Funeral Home (242 N 10th St, Geneva, NE 68361). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Geneva United Methodist Church (942 H St, Geneva, NE 68361).
Memorials are to be directed to the Geneva Boy's Pond.
