It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodney J Renken (Geneva, Nebraska), who passed away on April 20, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Everett Renken and Josephine Renken; his brother Gaylord Renken; his brother-in-law Darrel Hoffman; his parents-in-law, Donald and Donna Best; and his nephew-in-law Anthony Bertuccelli.

He is survived by : his wife Sandi Best; his children, Alisha Renken and Ryan Renken; his grandchildren, Jeramiah Uldrich, Adison Renken and Ryden Renken; his siblings, Sandra Hoffman and Michael Renken (Sue); and his in-laws, Cristy, Keith Koch, Cherryl Bertuccelli, Brad, Dianna Best and Carol Best. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Farmer & Son Funeral Home (242 N 10th St, Geneva, NE 68361). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the United Methodist Church (942 H St, Geneva, NE 68361).

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Geneva Fire & Rescue, UMCOR, and TeamMates Mentoring Program.
