With sadness, we share the passing of Arlene Anna Kamerzel of Gering, Nebraska. Arlene, born on May 6, 1937, passed away on October 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Buxbaum and Mollie Buxbaum; her husband Willard; her siblings, Ed Buxbaum, John Buxbaum, Victor Buxbaum, Helen Schneider, Irene Stricker and Frieda Deitz; and her nieces and nephews, Joanne Deines, Jennifer Patterson, Dick Buxbaum, Kenneth Buxbaum and Korey Nelson.
She is survived by: the mother of her child Dean; her son Dean; her daughter-in-law Shari Kamerzel of Scottsbluff; her nieces and nephews, Jerry Schneider, Dennis Schneider, Vern Buxbaum, Eddie Buxbaum, Duane Stricker, Kim Nelson, Kirby Nelson, Janet Pavlow, Connie Kildow, Diane Deitz, Colleen Garvin and Susan Garvin; and her godchildren, Terry Derr, Brenda Meier Brown and Jennifer Patterson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bridgman Funeral Home (2104 Broadway, Scottsbluff, NE 69361). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Emmanuel Congregational Church (4100 Ave. B, Scottsbluff, NE 69361).
