As we bid adieu to Betty M.'s earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Betty M. has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Richter and Rosella Richter; her pet Koda; and her close friend Joann Uhrich. She is survived by: her husband David Chvala; her sister Mary Pebley; and her children, Jeff Wegner (Ann), Mark Wegner (Rhonda), Brenda Foos, Jody Albaugh and Tracy Marquez (Andrew). She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gering Memorial Chapel (1755 11th St #2419, Gering, NE 69341). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at the Westlawn Cemetery.
