She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Brown and Mabel Brown (Sharp); her husband Wilmer Castle; and her siblings, Gerald, Willard, Clifford Brown, Eva Brown, Virginia Grooms, Hazel Lolly and Norma Bartlett.
She is survived by : her former life partner Dan Davis; her children, Debbie, Diana, Dan Davis (Mary) and Darrel Davis (Jenny); her grandchildren, Debbie Davis (Gary Short), Diana Hillyer, Skylar Hillyer (Sharon), Wes Hillyer (Ashley), Amy Gabrielle and Lacey Short (Mike Minor); and her sister Carmelita Edwards. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
She retired for good at age 85...she always said that it kept her mind sharp to keep busy working. And it did until the insidious disease, Dementia/Alzheimer's, took it from her.
