We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2023, at the age of 85, Gerald Leonard of Gering, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Pat; his parents, Lyle Leonard and Ruby Leonard; his siblings, Patty Sliger and Richard Leonard; his nephew Chuckie Sliger; and his parents-in-law, Ernest and Gwendolyn Tjardes.

He is survived by : his siblings, Melbeta and Lyman; his children, Jodi (Lee Myers) of Dodge City, KS, Travis (Valarie), Gabriel Murillo, Grayson, London, Koehn Leonard, Lori (Brian McDermott) of Gardner, KS, Josh (Meghan), Collin, Harper McDermott, Jerrad (Abbey), Dutton McDermott, Jensen McDermott (Mia Vogeler), Kevin (Nikole Leonard) of Gering, Brittney (Jacob Janisch), Chelsea, Bella Wilson, Kaden, Karsen, Kamden, Keegan, Kerrigan Leonard, Kathi (Bob Petersen) of Milford, Tyler Petersen (Claire Damon), Rick (Amy) of Peoria and Maya Leonard; his brother Alan (Sharon Leonard); and his close friend Linda Kuhlman. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Memorial has been established to the Gering Girls Softball Association, in care of Gering Memorial Chapel.
