We announce the death of John Reichert of Gering, Nebraska, who passed away on September 5, 2026, at the age of 80. John will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Reichert and Christina Reichert (Steben); and his siblings, Harold, Henry Reichert, Irene Mehling, Clara Hart, Loretta Frick, Helen Hargreaves and Lydia Schildt.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his daughters, Nadene and Rebekah (Eric); his grandchildren, Samantha, Cole and Clara; and his brothers, Harvey and Fred Reichert.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the West Lawn Cemetery (200491 Old Oregon Trail, Gering, NE 69341).
It is respectfully requested that in lieu of any flowers, memorials in John's honor be made in care of his family to be designated at a later date.
