She was predeceased by : her parents, Ray Haun and Lucille Haun (Knaub); her husband Ray Ernst; and her brothers-in-law, Ron Bolzer and Don Gable.

She is survived by : her children, Andrea Ray (Matthew), Brad Ernst (Brianne) and Cory Ernst (Brittany); her grandchildren, Turner, Maddie, Ryland, Tatum Ray, Ellis and Finnly Ernst; her siblings, Karen Bolzer, Sandy Gable and Allen Haun (Mary Kay); and her stepchildren, Matthew, Cody, Tyler, Tyson and Katie Arnold (Van Sicklen).

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Hope Lodge – Omaha or Gering Public Schools.
