As Joyce departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Joyce may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Joyce leaves behind.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ralph Witneck and Gladys Witneck (Giles); her son Andrew; and her pet JemKitty.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Plains Museum (2930 Old Oregon Trail, Scottsbluff, NE 69341).
Memorials may be made in care of the WyoBraska Veterans and Military Family Emergency Relief Organization.
