We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Kathleen Peters of Gering, Nebraska, born in Keosauqua, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Donald Smith and Jeanette Smith (Clapper); her husband Steven Peters; her former life partner Henry Rein; her granddaughter Heather Rein; and her son Jonathon Rein.

She is survived by : her children, Henry "Hank" Rein, Trish Hartshorn, Stephen Rein, Jeremy Elsasser, Kevin Elsasser, Amy Peters and Sarah Peters; her corgi Abbey; and her brothers, Don and David Smith. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.

Memorials are encouraged to Zion Evangelical Church.
