It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Keitha Kuxhausen (Gering, Nebraska), who passed away on April 11, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Benzel and Louise Benzel (Herman); her brothers, Rodney Benzel, Clarence Benzel (Betty) and Gerald Benzel (Hazel); her siblings-in-law, Helen Schmer, Elaine Kuxhausen, Marlene Kuxhausen, Donald Kuxhausen (Ruth) and Gary Kuxhausen (Ruby); her in-laws, Alex and Amalia Kuxhausen; and her siblings-in-law, Paulette Kuxhausen and Harry Schmer.
She is survived by: her husband Alvin Kuxhausen; her children, Rodney Kuxhausen, Teresa (Tess) and Miller (Cley Miller); her grandchildren, Keith Kuxhausen (Jessica Ryks), Sterling Ziegler (Bailey), Taylor Ziegler and Whitney Kuxhausen (Damien Alsidez); her siblings-in-law, Dick Kuxhausen, Norman Kuxhausen, Betty Benzel and Shirley Bauer (Mike); her great grandchildren, Kyndra Kuxhausen (Raashan Cotton), Kyla Mondragon (Fredericko) and Kaly Kuxhausen; her great great grandchildren, Macklyn Kuxhausen-Cotton and Amelia Mondragon; and her pets, Coca-Cola, Bronco and Husker. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
