Leroy E. Hamburg Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leroy E. Hamburg (Gering, Nebraska), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 3, 2025 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Conrad Hamburg and Margaret Hamburg (Himburche) of Gering; and his siblings, Henry, John, Ben, Daniel, Willard, Edward, Harold, Danny, Irene, Dorothy, Josephine and Leona.
He is survived by: his daughter Judy Templin (Ken) of Bloomington, IL; his grandchildren, Tasha Tomlinson (Shane) of Bloomington, IL and Travis Templin (Holly) of Bloomington, IL; his great grandchild Andrew Templin of Bloomington, IL; his siblings, Howard Hamburg (Donna) of Oregon, Tom Hamburg of Idaho and Lucile Hood of Washington; and his brother-in-law Melvyn Hood of Washington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the West Lawn Cemetery (1100 Cemetery Road, Gering, NE 69341).
